I have two weeks and two days until I get on the plane for Italy. With best intentions I have wanted to plug away on book 3 in The Fox and The Girl series, but it just hasn’t happened. I think it has to do with my writing environment for one. While I’m not George Martin needing to be in my specific writing place, with the same computer I used for every other book; I do need an area conducive for writing. Book 2 was written as I moved away from Florida and while on vacation in Maine. There were disruptions but I was able to get it done. Nevertheless, this is a different situation entirely. As you can imagine by my awesome picture, aside from the pig, there isn’t much to inspire even my mind at present. The view from my bunk bed is nothing to write home about.
Instead, I am writing notes and outlines for the rest of the series. While a few weeks or months ago I was ambitious enough to state the third book would be complete in a timely manner, there won’t be any real writing till I get settled in my apartment. Here’s a comparison of my current room and my future living room (although without my cosmetic touches).
Pictures aside, I am looking forward to sitting down again when I am more settled and getting into the third story of the series. I have to admit I have thought about postponing the release of the first book (mid August) for the second book to be entirely ready as well, but I figured you might be as anxious as I am for book one. I think it’s safe to safe within the month Luza will be on all e platforms and available in paperback as well.
On a parting note if you want new release updates under my picture you can sign up for email updates. I will only be using this list for my books, to let my readers know when books are ready to be purchased and read. I imagine there will be an occasional promotion as well. Feel free to sign up if you feel inclined.
