After my trip to Poland, the last few weeks have been quite a blur. Between a trip to Slovakia and Austria combined with a busy time at work, time is going quickly. This was the first Thanksgiving where I found myself on the job. Whether in the military or in education, I can’t think of a time where I was not around family during this time of year, yet here I am in Italy.
Now granted there have been some holiday related festivities, but it is different being thousands of miles away from my close friends and family members. Nevertheless, my current endeavors are well worth the sacrifice even during this time of year. There is something special for me spending this time along the Adriatic Sea and finding a sense of direction and purpose that was previously lacking.
I have to admit, my book projects took a back seat of late, even though I did get the first quarter of book three written in The Fox and the Girl series. In time, I am sure I will get back to Luza and Keira, but my focus is elsewhere at present. While I focus on my tasks and holiday related interests, I wanted to wish my readers, friends, family, and those that find this blog, a great holiday season. Cherish the times you share with others and those moments you have alone.
In case you need a nudge, this is also the perfect time of year in the Northern Hemisphere for some reading…
